Abstract
Although the use of technology to improve education is not a new idea, until recently there have been few notable successes. During the past five years, a learning system was designed that incorporates several techniques, including the videodisc, computer, and monitor, to accomplish interactive individualized learning in several audio and visual modes. This paper describes experiences in the use of learning system courseware for new-hire training, and continuing education. The paper concludes by raising issues which will affect the future of interactive learning through technology in social work education. Keywords
