Abstract
The half-times for disappearance of endogenous plasma HGH in normal adults were in the range 20-28 min and in 2 acromegalic patients followed during and after hypophysectomy were 21 and 30 min. The rapid turnover of endogenous plasma HGH is consistent with the previous demonstration of rapid changes in the concentration of plasma HGH in response to a variety of physiologic and experimental stimuli. Keywords
