Abstract
The dependence of the periodicity of dc SQUID's with Dayem bridges upon parameters, such as temperature, normal state resistivity, and the thickness of superconducting films, has been measured under applied magnetic field or control current injected into the films. The dc SQUID with Dayem bridges was made from Sn and granular Al. In the case of the applied magnetic field, the period has no dependence upon these parameters. The results show that the contour of integration of the London fluxoid-quantization condition is taken through the center of the film strips independently of the above parameters. In the case of the control current, the period was found to be associated with kinetic inductance as well as magnetic inductance. Keywords
