Availability and Usefulness of Assessment Information for Emotionally Disabled Students

Abstract
Teachers of emotionally disabled students in three states were surveyed to determine the availability and usefulness of information at the time of placement and reintegration of students. Results indicated that “useful” information is sometimes unavailable, while “available” information is not always considered “useful.” Implications for the collection of assessment information by school psychologists and other multidisciplinary team members are discussed in this context.
