Abstract
The effect of eliminating all animal (meat and fish) products except eggs and milk products from the current Spanish-Mediterranean diet was studied in 14 healthy subjects. This dietary manipulation decreased saturated and monounsaturated fat, protein, and cholesterol intakes.
