Agaricostilbum: An Auricularioid Basidiomycete

Abstract
A. palmicolum, originally placed in the Deuteromycetes, is a basidiomycete related to the stilboid Auriculariales. The species has a haploid yeast phase, cylindric, 4-celled basidia and blastogenous production of basidiospores.
