Abstract
A 21 yr old woman suffering from Harada''s disease was carefully evaluated during a 3 yr follow-up study. In the acute stage of the disease the electroretinographic [ERG] changes paralleled the clinical course. The functional parameters indicated that the retinal involvement was localized in the layers which generate the ERG. Some attempts to explain the discrepancy between the decreased positive amplitude of the ERG and the normal sensory threshold findings gave credence to the concept that such paradoxical behavior can be explained by the focalized nature of the retinal involvement. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
