Abstract
A real time analog optical technique to color code the spatial frequency content of an image is proposed and demonstrated. A Fabry-Perot etalon or interferometer is used as an element capable of selective filtering both spatial and temporal frequencies. Examples in texture analysis are presented. Keywords
