Abstract
Dr David May is senior lecturer in sociology and Dr David Hughes is a research fellow in the Department of Psychiatry, Dundee University. They present results of a three‐year study of the post‐school experiences of young people from special schools and units for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, in one Scottish region. The research was supported by a grant from the Chief Scientist's Office of the Scottish Home and Health Department.Keywords
