Abstract
The life history of Karocolens pittospori Kuschel from Aorangi I., Poor Knights Is, is described. Adults were kept in captivity for 3 years. Larvae were reared on artificial diets and on their host plant Pittosporum crassifolium. There were 6 larval instars, and their development took approximately 1 year.
