Abstract
Temporarily suppressed phases of Salmonella may be isolated by a method using ordinary laboratory glassware and a combination of infusion broth, semisolid agar, and the desired antiserum. A small amt. of the culture is inoculated into the semisolid agar. Organisms of the desired phase will be found in the broth upon overnight incubation and may be used for agglutination tests. Keywords
