Abstract
The testes and epididymides of 11 mountain goats [Oreamnos americanus] were studied. Both yearlings examined showed signs of sexual maturation. The histological examinations for spermatozoa indicated that at least some yearling male goats are fertile and capable of breeding. This may not occur often because dominant adult males generally prevent younger males from associating with estrous females during the rut. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
