Computation of intensities of vibrational transitions in the electronic ground state of a Morse anharmonic oscillator

Abstract
Following the mathematical technique developed recently by Prof. Manneback, a calculation has been made which gives in the useful form of finite recurrence relations the transition moments for jumps between the various vibrational states within a fixed electronic level of a Morse anharmonic oscillator. The methods used up to now always involved a technique which does not give the required quantities in a closed form.
