Abstract
Livers of Sprague-Dawley (Si-monsen) hypothyroid, hyper thyroid and euthyroid rats were isolated and perfused, pressure-flow relationships were measured and vascular resistance was calculated. Both hyperthyroid and hypothyroid rat livers exhibited reduced vascular resistance and increased blood flow per gram of liver despite a reduction in liver mass and apparent absence of pathologic change.Keywords
