Random magnetic fields and instantons in replica space

Abstract
The authors study a ferromagnet in a random magnetic field using the replica method. They find that the mean field equations have localized solutions (i.e. instantons), which are not invariant under rotations in replica space. The relevance and the properties of these solutions are studied.Keywords
