Abstract
1 Massive vitreous retraction must be diagnosed according to a well-defined set of criteria. 2 Massive vitreous retraction is treatable, despite Machemer's assertion this morning, in its contracting as well as immobile stages, but surgery must be carried out as soon as possible after the diagnosis is made. 3 Liquid silicone is the correct treatment and is not toxic to the human eye. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
