Abstract
A comparative analysis of the multispectral and angular methods of surface temperature determination, is presented. The measurements of the thermal radiation in 11.1 μm window region which are fulfilled under three angles along satellite tracks are used for zero air mass extrapolation. In the comparison of simultaneous IR and microwave radiation measurements, with the ship temperature valves, shows that in most cases the 1k accuracy is achieved. Keywords
