Abstract
A simple check for the presence of heterogeneity in a macromolecular system is proposed, employing comparison of Rayleigh sedimentation-equilibrium patterns for two solutions of the same fringe concentration but differing absolute concentrations. The method is illustrated by application to a bronchial glycoprotein from a cystic-fibrosis patient. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
