Abstract
A controlled study comparing CAM stimulation and occlusion therapies on 2 equally large, randomly allocated groups of 25 amblyopic children aged 4-6.5 yr was conducted. The main parameter of comparison was distant visual acuity. No significant difference was found between the 2 methods as regards mean improvement. By both methods 80% of the cases showed an improvement of at least 2 lines on the Snellen decimal steps chart. No case showed deterioration. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
