Abstract
Seventeen 20-day old rats were placed in cages in which they were required to stand on an electric grid to obtain water. After exposing them to this condition of shock for 32 successive days, their persistence of. response in crossing a grid to get to water was measured. Their behavior was compared to that of a group of rats which had not previously been exposed to shock. In terms of several measures the exptl. group showed greater persistence than the control group. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
