Abstract
The order-disorder phenomena in FeCo was investigated with specific heat measurements in the vicinity of the critical temperature. The transition in FeCo was second order and the ordering specific heat followed well below Tc a function of the form c0/kB=0.218 1g mod 1-T/Tc mod . The fcc-bcc transition in FeCo was also investigated and was found to be first order with a latent heat of 1.3 kcal mol-1.Keywords
