Abstract
Co-crystallization of C-methylcalix[4]resorcinarene 1 with 4,4′-bipyridine 2 in the presence of m-xylene results in the formation of a 2D brick framework, 3c·2(m-xylene), that possesses nanoscale cavities that host four aromatics as guests in which 1 adopts a ‘T-shaped’ conformation.Keywords
