Abstract
The brief appearance of thymidine kinase activity prior to DNA synthesis in microspores of Lilium is due to a de novo synthesis of protein. The chain of events leading to such synthesis begins with the formation of RNA; any of the steps in the sequence may be blocked by an appropriate inhibitor. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
