Abstract
Three serine proteinase inhibitors, MCTI-I, MCTI-II, and MCEI-I, were isolated from bitter gourd (Momordica cliarantia LINN.) seeds. MCTI-I and MCTI-II were inhibitors for trypsin and MCEI-I was an elastase inhibitor. Their amino acid sequences and the positions of disulfide bridges of MCTI-II were determined to be as follows. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
