Abstract
The omentum is unique in that it is the only body tissue specifically developed for the resolution of infected process; it also regains its suppleness once healing has taken place. These characteristics are not shared by the periureteral and perivesical tissues so that a properly mobilized pedicle graft is a valuable adjunct to the more difficult repairs and reconstructions of the urinary tract in human urinary pathologies. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
