Normalized shell model alpha decay theory applied to unfavored decay

Abstract
A shell model decay theory is presented which uses correctly antisymmetrized and normalized wave functions. Numerical calculations are performed for the decay constants for unfavored decay of and and for hindrance factors of excited states. The results are compared with those of the conventional shell model decay theory.
