Abstract
In Boophilus collected in northern Mexico the morphological characters used to separate B. annulatus (Say) and B. annulatus microplus (Canestrini) were variable, but it appeared that the two taxa do not occur together in the same regions of Tamaulipas or Coahuila. The caudal process of males of microplus varied from prominent to entirely absent, and coxa I of the females was equally variable. Variations in 30 collections of Boophilus are categorized. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
