Abstract
Agranu-locytosis with multiple complications developed in a patient during treatment with thioridazine hydrochloride. This is, to our knowledge, the fifth reported case of thioridazine agranulocytosis. The mechanism of phenothiazine induced agranulocytosis is still unclear, but there is some evidence for a direct toxic effect upon granulocytic production in the bone marrow, which is reversible if noted early. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
