Abstract
The dynamical regime of a single mode laser with modulated losses in the chaotic parameter range has been stabilized over one of the periodic orbits contained within the strange attractor by controlling the phase of a small periodic perturbation of the forcing term. Numerical solutions of a theoretical model show a good agreement with the experiment and provide the size of the stability windows in the parameter space. Keywords
