Abstract
The crystal structure and molecular stereochemistry of dimeric π-2-methylallylpalladium chloride complex, [MeC4H3PdCl]2, have been determined from three-dimensional data. The unit cell is triclinic, space group P with one molecule of the dimer per unit cell. The two palladium atoms are joined by chlorine bridges in a planar arrangement, the allyl groups being symmetrically bonded to the palladium atoms. The methylallyl ligand is non-planar.Keywords
