Abstract
Perfluoroacrylic acid 1a was prepared from tetrafluoropropanol-1 2 by reaction of an alkyl lithium yielding trifluoroacrylic alcohol 3, followed by oxidation of the latter with potassium permanganate, after protection of the double bond.Keywords
