Abstract
The regular perturbation solution of heat transfer is developed for slightly eccentric annuli. The numerical results demonstrate that the heat transfer in slightly eccentric annuli can be predicted from the solution of concentric annuli by a simple radial coordinate transformation when the ratio of the radius of the inner cylinder and the characteristic gap width is not too small. The regular perturbation solution breaks down when this ratio approaches zero.Keywords
