Abstract
Many authorities say that infertility is present in .apprx. 15% of married couples who desire children. Shulman speculates that in 1-2% of these couples, immune factors are associated with their infertility. This review article covers previous studies of sperm antigens and experimental models and common diagnostic antisperm assays. Clinical reports of male immunoinfertility by various investigators are discussed.
