Abstract
In high-resolution radars the constancy of the probability of false alarms (CFAR) is a difficult requirement, owing to the uncertainty of the clutter probability density function. The behaviour of an adaptive thresholding circuit is examined in Weibull assumptions, showing that a good CFAR can be obtained in a proper range of distribution shape factors. Keywords
