Abstract
The isolation and structural elucidation of six pterocarpans : neorautenane, neorautanol, edulenane, edulenanol ambonane, and neorautenanol, as well as two new isoflavanones : ambonone and neoraunone, are reported. The structures of neorautenane and neorautanol have also been confirmed by syntheses where the key step involves the reaction between 2H-chromen and o-chloromercuriphenol in the presence of lithium chloropalladite. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
