Abstract
Fluid cultures of 235 strains, comprising more than 16 spp. of Clostridium, were tested for inhibition of Mycobacterium phlei, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli by the agar cup-plate method. The results were negative except for weak, variably positive tests against M. phlei in the case of 2 strains of C. sporogenes and 2 of C. bifermentans. Keywords
