Abstract
4-Arsono-2-hydroxybutanoic acid, the analog of 3-phosphoglycerate in which.sbd.CH2.sbd.AsO3H2 replaces.sbd.O.sbd.PO3H2, was synthesized. It proved to be a substrate for phosphoglycerate kinase. Its Km was only slightly higher than that of the natural substrate, but its catalytic constant was .apprx. 1300 times smaller. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
