Abstract
A simple explanation for the modification of the Feynman rules in the field theory of non-Abelian gauge fields is found, and it is shown that in suitably defined nonlinear gauges the Feynman path-integral method of constructing the generating functional for electrodynamics also yields the correct generating functional for non-Abelian gauge fields. Keywords
