Abstract
Experimental determinations of light scattering spectra and the plasma densities and temperatures deduced from these observations are compared with theory for a thermal equilibrium plasma in the range 1<αD)-1) with plasma properties determined independently by standard spectroscopic techniques. Good agreement, with experimental errors of about 10% is obtained for both parameters. Keywords
