Abstract
TANAKA, J., YAMAGUCHI, T., TAKAHASHI, T., OGATA, N., BANDO, K. and KOYAMA, K. Regulatory Effects of Gastrin and Secretin on Carcinomas of the Stomach and Colon. Tohoku J. exp. Med., 1986, 148 (4), 459-460-Gastrin (10 μg/ml) enhanced 14C-leucine uptake in cultured tissue of stomach and colon carcinomas and content of 14C-labelled protein in the medium was increased. One of 2 stomach and one of 3 colon carcinomas transplanted into nude mice were enhanced in growth by pentagastrin injected in a dose of 250μg/kg every day. On the other hand, secretin (100U/kg) inhibited the trophic action of pentagastrin. Keywords
