Abstract
The system requires the instructor to establish point totals equivalent to letter grades and then to provide students with a list of performances each with a maximum number of points assigned. Students are free to select any combination of performances or repeat a single type of performance. The instructor grades each performance by crediting the student with a number of points up to the maximum for that performance. The student may complete the course work at any time that the point total he achieves is equal to the grade he would like to get in the course. Bonuses and incentive points assure class attendance and promote timely completion of the course work. Keywords
