Abstract
Tilorone hydrochloride, a synthetic small molecular weight inducer of interferon, stimulates humoral immune response to sheep red blood cells in mice. The effects of tilorone on immune response and on interferon induction resemble similar effects of polyanions. The property of non-immunogenic substances to induce interferon seems to be related to their property to enhance immune response. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
