Abstract
The chronology of mineralization and eruption of the mandibular teeth of 128 mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) from 99 days gestation to 33 months of age was studied radiographically. The following stages of development were recorded: beginning of cusp or incisal edge mineralization, beginning of root mineralization, beginning of eruption, time at which mineralization reached the apex of the root, and time of complete eruption. Mineralization began prior to 99 days gestation. Eruption and formation of the teeth were complete at 29 months of age. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
