Abstract
γ-Acyl-δ-lactones are prepared in high yields with high stereoselectivities by the trityl perchlorate catalyzed tandem Michael-aldol reaction between α,β-unsaturated ketones, ketene silyl acetals, and aldehydes.Keywords
