Abstract
A possible classification of nearly all the known mesons in terms of exchange-degenerate trajectories is given. This classification is consistent with the quark model and is also in general agreement with the behavior of the trajectories inferred from high-energy phenomenology. Predictions are made for the quantum numbers of some resonances. Arguments for the Lorentz-pole classification of these trajectories are also given. Keywords
