Abstract
Cystidium seiffertianum, a micro-organism isolated by Seiffert in 1937, appears in 2 forms: it looks like a rubber ball, pressed in either by a finger-tip or by the edge of a finger. It is similar to the viruses of the pneumonia of mice, of the pleuropneumonia of the horned cattle and to other layer viruses (not to bacterial cells).
