Abstract
A description is given of a new type of apparatus designed to sample plankton from the immediate vicinity of the sea bottom, and purely from this region. Details of the construction are given and the relative merits of the design are briefly discussed. It could be used for quantitative hauls.A small additional net serves to sample the smaller benthic fauna at the same time as bottom plankton is being sampled. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
