Abstract
The structure of the blood vessels of the septal mucosa of the albino rat was described. The presence of venous and arterial bolsters, including the stalked bolster, and their functional significance were dealt with. The regulating mechanism of the blood circulation in the septal mucosa and its effect on the cavernous tissue were discussed. Keywords
