Abstract
Two types of apparatus are described for the culture of bone marrow in vitro. The first, a macro method, is suited to the study of large amounts of bone marrow. The second, a micro method, allows observations of the development of individual cells. Studies of erythropoiesis by these technics has allowed insight into production of erythrocytes. These data will be reported in a subsequent article. Keywords
