Abstract
A high-current Hg arc has been developed for use with large quartz monochrometers. It gives a radiant energy output at 3131 A which is perhaps 10-15 times that obtain from the usual commercial arcs. Construction and operation details and special features of the new arc are descr. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
